![]() I personally will never return to this restaurant. The owner of Penn Station should shut down this restaurant, fire all the staff, and not re-open until a completely new staff of properly trained employees can run the restaurant, or else keep Penn Station closed permanently. Captain D’s is also about a block away and they always greet me with fast, friendly service. The same goes for Firehouse Subs located about a block away. They have never failed to provide fast and courteous service. I have to point out that there is a Papa John’s adjoining this restaurant. I had to leave without my sandwiches and with only a partial refund. She still refused to give me a full refund and said if I had a problem, I would have to wait around for a manager to come in. This did not require advanced math skills-which she obviously lacked. I said yes, but the receipt shows the amount actually paid along with the change. She argued that she gave me change back from my $20. (Again, they had never even started my sandwiches). I pointed out the different amount on my receipt. I told her that the refund receipt had a different amount than what I paid. At that time she called another manager who was able to walk her through it and she printed a separate refund receipt. She called a manager on the phone, and after a few minutes she realized that this manager did not know how to do a refund either. She played with the register several minutes and then realized she had no idea how to do a refund. I told the lady to just refund my money so I could leave. They had not even started preparation of my sandwich. I waited around 8 to 10 minutes and walked up to the counter. I was the only customer in the restaurant. At this time the other employee disappeared to the back. After a couple minutes I had to interrupt her again to to refocus her to take my payment. Once again the lady started chatting about personal matters with the other employee. (This is just a peculiar setup they use at this restaurant). After she took my order, I had to walk down to another register for this same person to ring me up. I finally had to interrupt her to get her to take my order. was going to wait on me however she would not stop chatting with the other employee about personal matters to take my order. Today a lady named Amanda walked up to the register as if she. ![]() I previously had walked out of this restaurant three different times in recent months because I could not get get someone to take my order. I visited Penn Station in February, 2019.
